This series „inbetween“ was created in a place that resists clear definition.

Between desert and sea.

Between exposure and shelter.

Between strength and softness.

Between staying and moving.

📍 Ras Mohamed, Sinai

A desert formed from ancient coral reefs once underwater, now exposed.
Lifted as Africa and Arabia slowly drifted apart.
Still salty. Still fragile. Still breathing.

My work often focuses on transitional spaces: physical, emotional, and geographical. Moments where identity is not fixed, but unfolding.

Living and working in a controversial place like Sinai taught me to slow down, to listen, and to understand that protection doesn’t always come from control, but from connection.

„Inbetween“ reflects my approach to cinematic and documentary-influenced storytelling: intentional, atmospheric, and rooted in place.
